Coronavirus is the eighth episode of The Pumpernickel Show.
Summary[]
Snizzy is diagnosed with COVID-19 and everyone must quarantine.
Plot[]
Snizzy wants a brown slushie and everyone else wants to come, but a man named Joe Grahm tests them to see if they have COVID-19. Snizzy tests positive, so she can't come, and neither can anyone else. They have to quarantine in a hotel. It costs $50.90, and they find separate hotel rooms. On TV, they discover that Joe Grahm has been arrested for falsely claiming people as positive for COVID-19.
Trivia[]
- There was originally going to be a song called "Here in Quarantine," but this was scrapped.
- This episode is the only episode not written by Tom Petersen at all.
- The Hotel Guy is shown to drink wine, but since this is a children's show, yellow text appears, clarifying the wine is non-alcoholic, as depiction or mention of alcohol is not allowed in a children's show. Because of this, and many inaccuracies due to Petersen's lack on involvement in writing this episode, it was declared non-canon on May 20, 2024.
- "Break Free" by Ariana Grande is heard in the episode, as is the Kidz Bop cover of the said song.
Goofs[]
- The screens when the characters are being tested has Harry and Snippy misidentified as female.
